Photoshop Steps to To Make a Fliptych

  1. Finalize image adjustments (crop, colors, exposure, etc.)
  2. Save Original
  3. Flip the image horizontally or vertically and Save As (2)
  4. Click on Lock icon in Layers  to change Background to Normal
  5. Choose Image>Canvas Size
  6. Make sure Relative is checked.
  7. Change the measurement from Pixels to Percent
  8. Make Width 100 and the Height O
    (This allows for crop size of any ratio to work)
  9. Click the Middle Right Square to move the Anchor there.  Hit OK. You should get an image twice the size with your original on the right.
  10. Layer-Duplicate Layer (CTRL + J Windows / Command J Mac)
  11. Edit – Transform – Flip Horizontal (or Vertical if desired)
  12. Click the Move tool in the upper left toolbar.
  13. Slide the images so the edges align
  14. Voilà – you’ve created the Fliptych
  15. Save image – make any further adjustments you like
